How to Get Extra Savings with Fry’s Food Digital Coupons

A division of Kroger, Fry’s Food is a supermarket chain that sells groceries, health & wellness products, household and pet items. The retailer offers various deals, and most of them are similar to the ones you can find at Kroger, including weekly deals and coupons.

If you’re interested in saving more, you might want to try the digital coupons available at Fry’s. They are updated regularly and can help your savings add up. Plus, digital coupons are available for a wide selection of products, so you should easily find something of interest paired with such a coupon. To simplify your shopping session, we have compiled below a short guide on how to use digital coupons at Fry’s.

Create a Digital Account

As is the case with other retailers or stores in the Kroger family of stores, to benefit from the many digital coupons available at Fry’s, you will need a digital account. Creating one is nothing complicated and shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes.

When creating the account, you will have to enter your 10-digit Alt ID number or your 12 or 13-digit V.I.P. Card number. In case you don’t have such a card, Fry’s will create a virtual one for you.

If you do have a card and a digital account, just sign and make sure your card is linked to your account. If you haven’t linked the two, go to the “Profile Information” section. You should then select the ”Edit” option under “Shopper’s Card Number.”

Once you add your card to your digital account, you’ll be able to clip digital coupons and use them next time you shop.

Install the Fry’s App

Many supermarkets now offer the possibility to shop wherever you are via their apps, and Fry’s is no exception. If you’re frequently on the go, you might want to download the app and thus cater to your shopping needs wherever you are.

The app is available for both iOS and Android devices and comes with various advantages. One of them is that it allows you to create a digital account and a card within the app so that you can access the many deals and digital coupons at Fry’s. Moreover, you can use it to build your shopping list, manage your prescriptions, and view digital receipts.

How to Find, Clip, and Redeem Digital Coupons

After you’ve taken the steps above, you can start clipping the coupons you’d like to use. To view the latest coupons, sign in and then go to the Digital Coupon section. At the time of writing, there were 355 coupons. Given this generous number, it is highly likely for you to find something that meets your needs.

When you find a digital coupon that you’d like to load to your card, just hit the “Load to card” button, and the coupon should be available for use immediately. Make sure that your Internet connection is stable, though, as otherwise, coupons might fail to load. When that happens, wait until your connection is stable and load them again.

You can load 150 coupons per household at a time, but keep in mind that some coupons are valid for a longer time and thus might count as more than one coupon when you load them. What’s great is that expired coupons are automatically moved to the “Expired Coupons” section and will no longer be active on your card and, just like redeemed coupons, they are excluded from the maximum amount of coupons allowed on your card.

To learn more about a certain coupon, click on it and select the “more details” option. You will see all the terms and conditions that apply to that specific coupon as well as its expiration date. In case you want to remove certain coupons that you’ve loaded to your card and are still valid, just go to the Digital Coupons section and then to the “My Coupons” tab. You should see the “Remove from card” option at the bottom of each coupon.

Redeeming the coupons you’ve loaded is easy as all you have to do once you’ve added the items of interest to your cart is enter your Alt ID or scan your Shopper’s Card at the register if you shop in-store. The discounts will automatically be applied to your purchase and you should see them on your receipt under the qualifying products. A digital coupon is identified as “ecpn” on your receipt.

The active coupons you’ve just redeemed will be immediately removed from the “Active Coupons” section, and you should see them in the “Redeemed Coupons” section by the next business day.

Save During Special Digital Savings Events

If you’re familiar with Kroger, you probably know that the retailer runs various digital savings events that can help you save even further using digital coupons. Since Fry’s is a division of Kroger, such events are held at Fry’s as well.

For example, at the time of writing, Fry’s was running the 4X Fuel Points event that provided shoppers with the possibility to earn 4X Fuel Points when using digital coupons. Such events typically last a few days, and the digital coupons that qualify for these promotions usually feature a banner at their top with the name of that specific promotion.

Digital Coupon Policy

Using digital coupons to save at Fry’s is easy and straightforward, and they can help you save significantly. However, terms and conditions apply, so it is best to read the store’s coupon policy before shopping.

What’s worth noting is that Fry’s accepts both paper and digital coupons, so if you’re into the old-school way of shopping, there are various ways for you to save when buying at this retailer. Plus, you can even print digital coupons by going to the My Coupons tab after you’ve signed in. Click the “Print My Coupons” button to print the coupons of interest.
