How to Get King Soopers Digital Coupons

Whether you need to refill your pantry, get new supplies for your pet, or diversify your personal care routine and collection with new products, the selection at King Soopers has your needs covered. The store is a subsidiary of Kroger, so if you’re familiar with the product selection and how things work when it comes to saving at Kroger, you’ll see that there are many similarities between the two stores.

King Soopers offers various ways for you to save, including weekly ads, hot weekly digital deals, as well as coupons. In case you’re new to digital coupons at this retailer and you’d like to learn how to use them, here is a guide to help your savings add up next time you shop and use such coupons.

What Are Digital Coupons?

Digital coupons are the equivalent of paper coupons, but, given that they’re digital, they’re loaded to your SooperCard and redeemed at the time of your purchase. Unlike paper coupons, they can be easily clipped within the Kroger app or on the retailer’s official website.

Create a Digital Account

If you visit the retailer’s website and try to clip a digital coupon, you will see that you will be required to sign in to be able to do that. Therefore, the first thing to do is to sign in to your Kroger digital account. If you don’t have an account, you will have to create one. The process is fairly simple and straightforward.

In order to access the many regularly available digital coupons, check your fuel points, track your savings, and benefit from other such advantages, you will have to register your existing SooperCard or Alt ID. The Alt ID is the 10-digit Alt ID number used at checkout in-store.

In case you already have a digital account, all you have to do is sign in, go to the “Profile Information” section and then select the “Edit” option under “Shopper’s Card Number.” Once you do that, you will be able to add the digital coupons of interest to your card.

However, if you don’t have a SooperCard, King Soopers will create a virtual one for you when you create a digital account.

Install the King Soopers App

You can further simplify your shopping experience by downloading and installing the King Soopers app. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices and will help you have all your account and shopping information readily accessible when needed. What’s more, you can create a digital account and a SooperCard through the app if you find it more convenient.

The app comes with various perks. Besides the fact that it makes it easy to clip coupons no matter where you are, the app allows you to view digital receipts, manage your prescriptions, and build a list of regulars. Plus, when you’ve done shopping and reach the checkout, you can simply scan the app to redeem your digital coupons and earn fuel points.

How to Load and Redeem Digital Coupons

Once you’ve taken the steps mentioned above, you can add the coupons of interest to your card. Doing so is easy as all you have to do is sign and then go to the digital coupon section. You can add coupons from the website or mobile app by clipping them using the dedicated button. Each coupon should feature such an option.

To make it easier for you to find digital coupons on the items you need, the digital coupon page features various filters. For example, you can browse coupons by brand or department. According to the information available on the retailer’s website, you can load up to 150 coupons at one time. At the time of writing, the section dedicated to this type of coupon featured 266 coupons.

Given the many digital coupons available and the fact that they apply to a wide variety of products, all shoppers should find something that meets their needs. Keep in mind, though, that some coupons are valid for a longer time, even for a few months, and they might count as more than one coupon when you load them to your card.

Coupons should be available as soon as you load them. Make sure that your Internet connection is stable as network or connectivity issues may interfere with this process.

If you want to remove a coupon that you’ve loaded to your card, you can do so by going to the Digital Coupons section, My Coupons tab. Each offer should feature a “Remove from Card” button.

After you’ve loaded the digital coupons you’re interested in, add the items you want to buy to your cart. The discount will automatically be applied to your purchase. Now, if you shop in-store, you will be required to scan your Shopper’s Card or enter your Alt ID at the register.

To make sure that your coupon was applied, check the receipt. The discount should appear on it underneath the qualifying product. Look for “ecpn” as this is how digital coupons are identified on your receipt.

Digital Coupon Limits

Taking advantage of the many digital coupons featured at King Soopers is easy and can help you save significantly. However, make sure you read the coupon policy before your next shopping session for more on the terms and conditions that apply.

Also, check the details of each coupon to learn more about how it can be used and its expiration date. You should see “offer details” at the bottom of each offer. Expand it to get more details. The coupons that you have loaded to your card and have expired will be moved to the “Expired coupons” section of the “My Coupons” page.

What’s also worth noting is that you can also print digital coupons. According to the retailer’s FAQ page, you can do so by going to the “My Coupons” tab and clicking the “Print My Coupons” button. You can thus print a list of coupons you’ve selected.
