For this recipe buy large, ripe and healthy strawberries from your favorite local grocery retailer like Aldi, Kroger, Safeway, Sprouts, Ingles, Shoprite, Stop & Shop, and more. The chocolate can be dark but also with milk, white or pink if you want a variation.
Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly with a paper towel or a very clean towel, leaving the leaves on. The strawberries must be completely dry, otherwise the coating will not stick very well to the strawberries

Put water in a small pot on the stove and place a clean bowl on top. Add the chopped chocolate to the bowl to melt. Stir constantly until the chocolate is completely liquid. Remove the bowl from the heat and, using a spatula, mix well until the chocolate pieces are completely melted.
Once the chocolate is ready and the strawberries are dry, stick each strawberry on a skewer and dip it in the chocolate. Then place them on a tray with non-stick paper and put the tray in the refrigerator so that the chocolate hardens on strawberries.
