Walgreens has said it will lower prices as part of its “Summer of Savings” promotional campaign, this time on more than 1,300 products, with promotions advertised in in Walgreens weekly ad. Also, customers can save with the return of Walgreens popular myW Days in mid-July.

“Walgreens understands our customers are under financial strain and struggle to purchase everyday essentials. We continue to be committed to our customers by lowering prices on over a thousand additional items, something we’ve been doing since October of 2023,” said Tracey D. Brown, EVP, President, Walgreens Retail & Chief Customer Officer.
Given that Target revealed a week ago that it is slashing prices on 5,000 items and that Walmart has stated that there is deflation in the general-merchandise categories as price rollbacks intensified, it appears that this summer customers will have plenty of opportunities to save money.
